Please note that Kellogg is unable to accommodate specific dietary needs other than vegetarian and meat.  If you have questions or concerns please contact Kate or Stephanie.
Meals included begin with dinner on Wednesday and end with lunch on Sunday. 

 

Costs for this workshop:

This workshop is for Wednesday 6pm (starts with dinner) THRU SUNDAY 3pm.

 

The basic cost for tuition, meals and facility fees is $675,

Note- this does not include housing.  Housing options are listed below.

for the total amount owed.

 

Housing Options:

There are several lodging arrangements available, from single apartment to bunk house.  Housing choices are first come first served. Although we will try to meet all requests space is limited for each type of housing, particularly single housing.  We will notify you if your choice is not available.  If you would like to share a room with someone but do not know anyone else attending we will do our best to find another person for you to share with. 
Lodging for WEDNESDAY NIGHT thru Sunday  3pm:

_____$175 + basic cost of $675 for Double Housing


_____$250 + basic cost of $675 for a Private room

 

Note for early arrivals/late stays:

If you wish to arrive on Tuesday and/or stay an additional evening on Sunday, contact us for the additional costs.  You may opt for additional dinner and/or lodging either night.

 

**We will attempt to find a roommate for you, if we are unable to accommodate your preference we may need to assign you a different housing option with a different price.

Approximately 2 weeks before the training, registered /paid participants  will be sent  (via e-mail or postal mail) a registration packet which will include directions to the workshop and items to bring.

***If you are flying In:  Please arrange your flight schedule so that you can be present for the entire program.   Tom Cowan requests folks to attend the entire workshop . It is not respectful to the other participants and the presenter to come into the workshop late or to leave early and can be disruptive to the group energy.  The Kalamazoo-Battle Creek International Airport is the closest  (about 17 miles away) and there is shuttle service available from there to Kellogg Biological Station.  The phone number for the airport is 269-388-3668.  Executive Car Service provides the shuttle to and from the airport.  Their phone number is 269 342-5800.

Airlines which fly Kzoo/BC Airport are :  American Eagle (Chicago O'Hare), Delta Connection/Comair (Cincinnati), Northwest Airlines and Northwest Airlink (Detroit/Minneapolis), and United Express (Chicago O'Hare). 

 

***Please refrain from wearing perfumes and using other scented products (including Candles) so that attendees with environmental sensitivities can comfortably enjoy the workshop.  We use unscented candles in the workshop and smudge is not used inside the workshop room, although it may be used outside of the room.  Thank you.

*** Important, please read: Cancellation Policy

Please note this cancellation policy.
This policy is necessary to help us meet our commitment to the instructor and to the facility. There are no exceptions to this cancellation policy. Thank you for respecting this. 

Cancellation :
  The deposit of $300 is refundable from up until June 14 minus $15 administrative fee..
After June 15th it is refundable only if we can find someone to replace you in the training. If we do find a replacement, you will receive your deposit back,  minus a $30 administrative fee.

Cancellation of Full Registration payment:  If you cancel after June 15, 2008,you can receive a refund 
only if we CAN find a replacement participant
to attend in your place- in that case,we will refund monies paid for registration minus a $50 admin fee. If we cannot find a replacement, you will forfeit your registration.

Tom Cowan, Spirit Weavers, Kate Durda, and/or Stephanie Tighe reserve the right to cancel this workshop or the participation of anyone, at any time for any reason. In such a case fees paid in advance will be reimbursed. No other compensation will be made. If you are flying, always consider flight insurance.
