We will be meeting at the Bengel Wildlife Center
(home of Michigan Wildlife Conservancy) in Bath, MI which is just a bit
northeast of East Lansing,,, very easy access off I-69. (Take I-27 to I-69
,head east for 2 miles or so) Their website is in the flyer below..please
check there for directions to the workshop! It is a beautiful location for our
work..!
Medicine for the Earth Gathering:
Saturday, November 8
REGISTRATION/Check-in 9:30 am .
Please be on time.
Session STARTS promptly at 10am - til 5pm.
Sunday November 9th 10am -4pm.
Please bring the usual:
Mat/cushions/blandets to sit and lie upon for journeying.
Eye cover
Rattle/ drum if you have
journal
Wear clothes comfortable for indoor/outdoor as we will be doing
some outside work....rain or shine( bring umbrellas/rain coats although we
petition the Nature Spirits to bless us that day... with weather hopefully
nice, breezy and comfortable!
Smalll item(s) for community altar
Coffee and water will be available, but due to location, we encourage you to bring a Brownbag LUNCH (microwave, frig available, NO stove. ) -- or can get food at pizza/sub place about 1/2 mile away but limited availability .. The nature center has a wonderful wraparound porch around the entire lodge.. great for eating lunch!
Two nearby hotels are:
COURTYARD MARRIOT (517) 482 0500 Hampton Inn (517) 324 2072 located at intersection of Lake Lansing and I-27. There may be more ,, but these are the two that Bengel Center Staff told us were the closest.
